Fijian Village Visit
Experience the Fijian culture during a two-hour visit with our team to nearby Solevu Village, the home of the traditional landowners of the resort. You will be traditionally presented to the village elders and welcomed as part of their family. We can also arrange a visit to the weekly church service where you are welcome to soak up the angelic harmonies of the Solevu church choir.
At Tropica we offer handline fishing or can arrange a game fishing or sports fishing charter. All fishing trips are between 2-4 hours long and we can arrange refreshments to go.
Tropica can cater for both learner and experienced divers. Certified PADI scuba dive instructors from either Subsurface Fiji or Hauraki Adventures will transfer guests to select dive sites near our island of Malolo in the Mamanucas. You’re guaranteed to see a diverse display of marine life in clear, warm waters with visibility of up to 25m, regardless of the season. Our tours depart Tropica twice daily at 8.45am and 2.45pm and have a choice of more than 30 incredible dive sites, including the world-famous Supermarket Dive Site and the Namotu Wall.
Among the sea creatures you’re likely to encounter in this aquatic wonderland are sea turtles, manta rays, starfish, white and black tipped reef sharks and hundreds of tropical fish. Our dives also take in colourful soft corals, deep reef walls, the occasional shipwreck and intricate caves.
