Guest Safety

Upon arrival at our tender boat, hand sanitiser is available and your luggage will be safely sanitised before you disembark at our jetty. At check-in, all guests will be offered a choice of in-room servicing options which range from daily deep-cleaning to a no-room entry option with linen changes dropped off as required.

Hand sanitiser is available throughout the resort, including in all rooms.

All Tropica accommodation is deep-cleaned between guest stays. All services are sanitised with an emphasis on high-touch areas including light switches, door handles, taps, basins and toilet seats. All tea, coffee-making equipment and glassware are dishwasher-cleaned to ensure correct sanitising temperatures are reached. All air-con unit filters are cleaned regularly.

The seating at our eateries and bars reflects physical distancing guidelines (1.5m). All surfaces and amenities including menu boards are sanitised after each service.

Our infinity pool is open daily for use and we request guests observe physical distancing rules as much as possible. Poolside seating is configured to follow recommended physical distancing guidelines (1.5m).

All watersports equipment is sanitised after each use, including snorkelling gear and masks. Single-use mouthpieces are available for purchase.

All treatment rooms and bathrooms in Tropica’s Spa Village are sanitised between treatments and a deep clean is undertaken each evening.

Tropica Team Well-Being

Our team have been trained in the new sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure the safety of our guests and staff. All staff are required to wash their hands or use sanitiser at least once every 60 minutes and after any delivery to guests. There are daily briefings on Tropica’s health and hygiene protocols and all staff arriving on the island following rostered leave receive temperature checks and must complete a health briefing.
The same sanitising procedures are also followed at the staff village.
