Our Story
Tropica Island Resort is an adults only, boutique island retreat nestled in a private bay in Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands. Just a short journey from Nadi International Airport, Tropica is a place to slow down, switch off and reconnect whilst surrounded by crystal-clear waters, vibrant reefs, and beautiful island views.
With just 28 stylishly appointed bures and suites, the resort blends contemporary comfort with traditional Fijian design. Beachfront Pool Bures sit just metres from the shoreline with spectacular sunset views, while our Sanctuary Pool Suites offer spacious comfort and private pools in a peaceful garden setting. For couples seeking added privacy, our elevated Deluxe Pool Bures provide a luxurious retreat with generous living spaces and large infinity-edge pools overlooking tropical gardens. All rooms feature private outdoor showers for a truly tropical island experience.
Guests can choose to do as much or as little as they please. Explore nearby surf breaks, reefs and dive sites, enjoy fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkelling, or simply unwind at the day spa.

Fiji Tourism Services Tax
From 1 September 2026, the Fijian Government will introduce a 5% Tourism Services Tax (TST) on eligible tourism services, including accommodation, dining, spa treatments and other applicable resort services.
At Tropica Island Resort, all published and quoted prices already include the 5% TST, so no additional 5% charge will be added to your account.
In accordance with government requirements, the TST component will be shown separately on your invoice or receipt.
The Tourism Services Tax is a Fijian Government-mandated tax and is separate from Fiji’s Value Added Tax (VAT).
