Tropica welcomes Kaye Lapper-Wind as our new Resort Manager.
Kaye’s very impressive background includes acting general manager and spa manager of Namale Resort & Spa, and recreation manager, duty manager and market analyst at Sheraton Denarau Resort.
A bit about Kaye…..
Kaye grew up on a small farm in Savu Savu on the other island of Fiji, Vanua Levu where her grandmother instilled high standards and a strong work ethic in both her and her mother. Kaye is a strong believer in the development of women, as she believes they are the backbone of Fiji.
Kaye is a keen surfer having represented Fiji in the 2003 Pacific Games and was a silver medalist in the Oceania Cup, New Caledonia 2008. Kaye is also a qualified Yoga Instructor and can be seen early morning up at The Point taking yoga classes. Kaye’s 2 daughters have also achieved success and have represented Fiji in swimming. Her 14 year old daughter winning a silver medal in the Fiji Oceania swimming championships in 2016.
We are thrilled to have Kaye join the Tropica team. She is a dynamic leader with a keen focus on developing our people whilst at the same time ensuring our guests have a personalised experience. She believes in the vision of a more productive Fiji without losing the Fijian Spirit. Our guests are loving their stays under Kaye’s leadership and we are delighted to have someone so dedicated to enhancing both the guest experience and the development of our staff.
