It is no secret that the real reason behind Tropica Island Resorts growing popularity and continuous success lies with its dedicated staff. In the last three years since its inception, Tropica continually receives rave reviews from guests about their staff. This has fueled and ignited enthusiasm and passion amongst those that work hard all year long to make Tropica a home away from home for its guests
The management at Tropica have shown unwavering support for its staff over the years showing great commitment to ensuring everyone learns new skills and find new ways of increasing productivity. On the job training and classroom courses are some of the steps management have taken to ensure the continued growth of the staff.
To boost employee engagement and encourage workplace satisfaction, the management team initiated a rewards strategy whereby employees are recognised for the hard work they put into the growth of Tropica. Monthly nominees are put forward by departmental heads for the employee of the year title. The nominee’s personal traits, interpersonal skills, attitude, commitment and work performance are then assessed before final selections are made.
